Goral Gandhi, Founder & Scientific Director at Global Fertility Solution has an inside perspective on infertility. She has seen couples struggling to have children and understands both the personal implications and the effect on the family dynamic. Ultimately treating successfully the patients with fertility treatments, she feels tremendous joy that her job is to help people to create families.
Her career in Embryology started in the year 1996, at the Fertility Clinic headed by Dr. Sadhana Desai. Goral earned her master’s in Applied Biology from the King Edward Memorial Hospital, University of Mumbai, for her research work on “Quality Control in Laboratories”. Three months of her research period were spent at the quality control laboratory, Hammersmith Hospital, UK. She subsequently served as a Research Fellow at the In Vitro Fertilization Laboratory of the University Hospital, Belgium, and Egyptian IVF Center, Cairo, where she gained extensive experience in all ART techniques and Laboratory management. Over the years, Goral Gandhi has successfully set up many IVF laboratories all over India and she is an absolute leader in the field for almost decades.
Goral Gandhi is currently serving as Founder & Scientific Director of Global Fertility Solution, Mumbai, India which was founded by her in the year 2017 using her extensive knowledge and research in the field of reproductive techniques. She has decades of experience in IVF, ICSI, and Embryo Transfers.
The last ten years of her career have been dedicated to improving and optimizing cryopreservation protocols. Today, she is regarded as a Key Opinion Leader on the subject all over the globe. She has trained over 600 embryologists and clinicians from 19 countries in the techniques of egg freezing and embryo freezing. Her status as one of the world leader in the field of Cryopreservation and Vitrification and her expertise in the field has led Global Fertility Solution to be a center of Excellence for IVF, especially for women of advanced maternal age, women with low ovarian reserve and women who want to opt for egg freezing. Women with a low quantity of eggs need a treatment called IVF Lite where the Vitrification of embryos plays a crucial role in their success. Goral is a world expert in this, Global Fertility Solution proudly boasts of exceptional success rates for such patients as well as patients of Egg Freezing. Goral Gandhi has been a leader in the field of IVF and ART for over 20 years. She also has a rich experience in imparting education in IVF and has been organizing didactic lectures, training, and hands-on workshops on all aspects of IVF since the year 2000. She has been synonymous with quality and expertise in all aspects of embryology and laboratory management and has trained many embryologists and scientists who have now established embryologists spread all across the globe. She has conducted innumerable ART workshops, including training in IUI, IVF, ICSI, Vitrification, Trouble Shooting, and Laboratory Management. She has conducted seven training workshops in UAE. She has trained over 600 embryologists, not only from India but countries like the USA, Australia, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Turkey, UAE, and Singapore. Throughout her career, Goral Gandhi has been actively involved in clinical research in embryology. Her research activities are geared towards developing innovative culture and cryopreservation methodologies to improve clinical pregnancy outcomes.
Apart from being a successful embryologist and running her IVF clinic in Mumbai, Goral is a mother of two kids. She loves to spend time with them and goes on holidays with her family. She loves to travel and read. Her son is doing advanced studies in Canada and being a keen Cricket enthusiast, runs a blog called “The cricket talks”. Her daughter, after graduating from Le Cordon Bleu, London, runs a boutique patisserie called Carousel – The Bake About in Mumbai.
